The Removals Roadmap: What are we missing?
Heriot-Watt University and Respira International, the impact-driven carbon finance company, are pleased to host an evening of discussion on the 6th December. As part of the ongoing COP28 activities, the event will gather a panel of speakers from both the nature-based removals and the engineered carbon removals sectors (CDRs).
Both nature-based carbon removals and CDRs have a growing role to play in the transition to net zero, yet too often debate is framed as an either/or. This event will be a stock take for these two critical but relatively early stage but fast evolving sectors.
Speakers from each sector will be asked the same questions providing you with an opportunity to learn of the differences and similarities between the two.
Starting at 17:00, the discussion will last 70 minutes before finishing at 18:10. Following the talks, you are invited to stay for networking until 19:30.
