We are excited to announce 'Cantera' by Jacek Markusiewicz. How far can we go in human intervention in the natural landscape and still call it a natural landscape?
'Cantera' is inspired by works created by Michael Heizer, Maya Lin, and Eduardo Chillida.Referencing interventions in the landscape for human activity, especially infrastructure. Cantera means quarry - inspired by actual quarries in the Basque Country: Jauristi in Durango, Ugartetxea in Markina.
