CANDLES & KEFFIYEHS: Vigil & silent walk for Palestine
Join us for a silent candlelit vigil and walk to show support for Palestine, and to honour the thousands of lives lost in this genocide.
Please note: This is a silent walk. There will be no chanting, no powered speakers and no posters. We will distribute leaflets to passersby with information about the genocide in Palestine.
This event is organized by Justice for Palestinians Calgary in partnership with the Hillhurst United Church and Independent Jewish Voices (IJV).
LED candles will be provided to the first 300 attendees. Bring your friends, your family and spread the word.
PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME AS OUR PROGRAM WILL BEGIN AT 5PM SHARP.
