About Chinmay:

​Chinmay Chauhan(LinkedIn) is a seasoned entrepreneur, angel investor and advisor who has co-founded BukuWarung.

• ​He started his career at Microsoft as a software engineer after graduating from IIT Bombay.

• ​He took up multiple Product leadership roles at companies like Grab and Carousell.

  • ​Director of Product at Carousell, the largest second-hand marketplace in SEA.

  • ​​Product Lead at Grab, PM #8 - drove 21X growth.

• ​He went on to co-found BukuWarung in 2019.

  • ​BukuWarung is a Y-Combinator backed technology company that is building digital infrastructure for MSMEs in Indonesia with a vision to empower 60 million MSMEs in Indonesia to become financially aware and enable them to manage and grow their business.

• ​He has raised $80M from top-tier investors globally, including Peter Thiel's Valar Ventures, Goodwater Capital, Y-Combinator, SoftBank Partners, DST Global Partners, and strategic angel investors from Stripe, PayPal, Plaid, Grab, Gojek, Facebook, Airbnb, and Mastercard.
