About Event

Join us for the first session in The Manager's Journey preview series, where we'll explore the foundation of effective management: self-awareness.

Great managers begin by understanding themselves. Before guiding others up the mountain, they take time at Base Camp to recognize their own strengths, triggers, and patterns.

In this practical, interactive session, you'll:

  • Discover how self-awareness directly impacts team performance and engagement

  • Learn specific techniques to identify your management strengths and blind spots

  • Practice emotional regulation strategies for challenging situations

  • Learn a practical tool to help your team know and work with you better

This workshop is designed for new and experienced managers, as well as leaders in growing organizations (50-200 employees) who recognize the need to support their managers in building foundational skills.

Attend this session as a standalone experience or join us for the full five-part Manager's Journey series. Each session builds on the previous while providing immediately applicable skills and frameworks.

Your Guide: Dan Lawner, CPTD, Principal at Bevel Talent, has built manager development programs for organizations ranging from 100 to 100,000 people. He brings over 10 years of experience in companies and organizations like Google, DT Global, and Population Services International designing learning programs that focus on the fundamental skills that drive organizational performance.
