​We will host two experts working on some of the world's most pressing problems. We will learn about their backgrounds, their approach to planning a fulfilling and impactful career, and their transition from students into professionals. In addition, we will  get a glimpse into the specific cause areas they are currently working on (AI safety and climate change). There will also be plenty of time for asking your questions and networking.

​Speakers:
Henry Papadatos — Managing director of SaferAI
Henry is a technical AI risk management expert focused on addressing the growing gap between rapid AI advancement and our ability to manage its associated risks. He is the Managing Director of SaferAI where he works on both AI governance and technical solutions to improve the risk management for frontier AI systems. Prior to joining SaferAI, he conducted technical research on large language models alignment at the Center for Human-Compatible AI at UC Berkeley.

​Pierre Vogler-Finck — Independent tech consultant in energy and digital technology for climate action
Pierre is a scientist and engineer specialized in energy and digital technology for climate action. His expertise is grounded in 10 years of research and development experience in the energy sector in a European context, as well as a PhD in the field. He provides support and consultancy to entrepreneurs, decision-makers and innovators in the development and scaling of impactful digital and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, as well as monitoring and evaluation of their impact.
