​​About the Speakers

​​Andres Barreto is a founder and pre-seed investor that has backed over 120 companies as a first-check investor. Andres started his founder journey with music-streaming service Grooveshark (2007), participated in Techstars with ad network Onswipe (2011), and invested in 85 pre-seed companies beginning in 2013, while more recently joined Techstars as Managing Director of Boulder (2020) and now Techstars Miami (2022).

​Cristian Rapagna is a Software Engineer and 2X founder. In 2011, he founded Medallia's Product Dev center in Argentina, where he hired and led over 100 top engineers. This is where he learned how to harness the power of peer referrals: 75% of those hires came from a direct referral within his network's network.
