About Event

📍 The Hague Central Library, Dok B (4th floor)
📅 May 1, 2025 | 18:00 – 20:00
🗣 Persian | فارسی

We warmly invite Persian speakers and those passionate about literature and social thought to the third session of "Khandani-ha" (خواندنی‌ها), a Persian-language book club hosted at the Central Library of The Hague.

This session coincides with International Workers’ Day, setting the tone for a compelling evening of literature and reflection. We are honored to welcome Mana Khosrowshahi, author of Don't Fear Socialism, coming from Canada to be present at the library, and Keyvan Mohtadi, author of Harbingers of the Coming Storm, who will be joining us live from Iran. The discussion will be moderated by Mazdak Daneshvar, a researcher in social history with a medical background with extensive knowledge about the topic.

Together, we will explore these thought-provoking works, read selected passages, and engage in open conversation with the authors. The event aims to cultivate a space for critical dialogue, connection, and the celebration of Persian intellectual life.
