Meet the Speakers:

Amanda Castellano, is a Wealth Advisor with Bernstein Private Wealth Management. She provides comprehensive investment planning services to private clients, families, and nonprofit organizations, working to develop and maintain investment strategies suited to their long-term spending needs, risk tolerance and legacy goals.

For the past four years before joining the firm in 2023, she served as financial advisor and senior portfolio advisor at Merrill Lynch. Prior to that, she was an owner of a concierge training company in which she worked as a personal trainer and fitness consultant. Amanda has a BS in professional studies, summa cum laude, from St. Francis College. She holds the AWMASM (Accredited Wealth Management Advisor), CSRIC® (Chartered Socially Responsible Investing Counselor) and SE-AWMASM (Sports & Entertainment Accredited Wealth Management Advisor) designations.

Amanda is a member of the Board of Directors of the Women’s Business Development Council, the Westport Young Woman’s League, is a member of the Westport Public Arts Committee (WestPAC), and enjoys volunteering in the Westport public schools with their cultural arts, financial literacy and sustainability initiatives.


R.J. Kornhaas advises early-stage companies and privately and publicly held middle-market companies on corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and debt financing, commercial agreements, governance, and general corporate matters. R.J. is Co-Chair of the Family Office and Strategic Investments Practice Group. He also counsels family offices and high net-worth individuals in connection with venture capital investments.

R.J. enjoys working with companies at various stages of development and guiding founders and new companies as they grow. He serves clients in industries including tech, life sciences, financial services, manufacturing, digital media, consumer products, and food and beverage.

R.J. lives in Wilton, CT, with his wife and two children. His favorite non-work activities are to play golf and cheer for Notre Dame.


Alex Ramos joined Key Private Bank as Sr. Relationship Manager, helping the bank’s high-net worth clients meet their banking, fiduciary, investment, and planning investment needs. He has 20 years of industry experience in investment and relationship management roles with top financial institutions. Ramos speaks English, Spanish, French, Dutch and Portuguese. He earned his BA from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MA from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium as a Fulbright Scholar.
