Osaki Innovation Lab は、日本市場で長年の実績を持つ中国上場ITサービス企業 Beyondsoft（博彦科技）が設立した非営利イノベーションプラットフォームであり、国際イノベーションの架け橋となることを目指しています。
生成AIは世界中で加速度的な進化を遂げ、日本でもその導入・活用が積極的に進められています。
同時に、ポストコロナの日本では起業やイノベーションへの関心が高まり、数多くの新興企業や先端的なアイデアが生まれています。
一方で、中国は生成AIの世界的リーダーの一角を担い、過去40年にわたる高密度な起業・イノベーションの実践を通じ、世界に活力と貴重な知見を提供してきました。

【登壇者】
李然（Edwin Li）
李然（Edwin Li）氏は、広告テクノロジーと生成 AI ソリューションを提供する Flux 株式会社 の共同創業者兼 CTO。英国ケンブリッジ大学コンピュータサイエンス学科に在籍後、東京工業大学 情報理工学院に編入・卒業し、在学中は松尾豊研究室にて深層学習と大規模言語モデル（LLM）の研究に従事した。
アルゴリズム、機械学習、分散システム、マルチモーダル LLM の設計に精通し、国際特許・査読付き論文を多数保有。オープンソースコミュニティでも精力的に活動し、推論エンジン FluxRT や LLM 微調整ツールを主導している。また W3C Advisory Committee 日本代表として、標準化と AI 倫理の策定にも関わる。
数学・天文・物理・化学オリンピックでの受賞歴に加え、ACM-ICPC アジア地区金メダルを獲得するなど、学際的な競技実績を誇る。NeurIPS、CEDEC、PyCon JP などで基調講演を行い、大学や企業向けに生成 AI 実装講座を提供している。
菊地朋生（Tomoo Kikuchi）
菊地朋生氏は、早稲田大学大学院アジア太平洋研究科教授、日本グローバル経済研究所所長。また、南洋理工大学 RSIS 兼任シニアフェローおよび Salzburg Global Fellow を務める。ドイツ・ビーレフェルト大学で経済学博士号を取得。専門は国際マクロ経済学、経済成長、国際政治経済。これまでシンガポール国立大学経済学部助教授（2007–2014）、リークワンユー公共政策大学院シニアリサーチフェロー（2014–2017）、高麗大学経済学部教授を歴任し、MIT Sloan や慶應義塾大学グローバルリサーチインスティテュートの客員研究員も務めた。Journal of Asian Economics 編集委員ほか学術誌の編集経験も豊富
袁 小航 （Yuan Xiao Hang）
袁小航（Yuan Xiaohang）氏は、Skyland Ventures のベンチャーパートナー／CSO として、日本のスタートアップの中国進出を支援。中国・日本の投資機関で豊富な実績を持ち、これまで多数のクロスボーダー投資案件を推進。かつて e-frontier の上海子会社社長を務めた後、Mistletoe（旧 Asian Groove）の上海法人代表として中国スタートアップ投資に従事し、「中国VC第一世代」とも呼ばれる。現在は自身の投資会社を通じて、日本企業への出資や中国VCのアドバイザーも兼務。ブロックチェーン・暗号資産分野にも積極的に関与。京都大学経済学部卒、名古屋大学経営学博士課程修了。
苗春亭（Miao Chunting）
苗春亭（Miao Chunting）氏は、Spring Capital Partner, Founding Partnerを務めています。東京工業大学卒業後、野村総合研究所（Nomura Research Institute, Ltd.）にてコンサルティングおよびプロジェクト管理業務に従事した後、みずほファイナンシャルグループ傘下の老舗ベンチャーキャピタルであるモバイル・インターネットキャピタル(株)に入社し、8年間投資およびファンド運営管理業務を担当。苗氏は日本での生活およびビジネス経験は18年以上におよび、日中両国市場に対する深い理解と、グローバルなビジネス環境への鋭い洞察力を兼ね備えています。
舛友 雄大（Takehiro Masutomo）
舛友雄大氏（Takehiro Masutomo）は、中日関係および中国人の対日移住現象を専門とする作家。米国カリフォルニア大学サンディエゴ校で国際関係学修士号を取得後、シンガポール国立大学（2014〜2016）と早稲田大学で研究員を務めた。
代表作『潤日 ― 日本へ大脱出する中国人富裕層を追う』（東洋経済新報社、2025）は、約 2 年半に及ぶフィールドワークと 100 人超のインタビューを基に、パンデミック以降に来日する中国の富裕層・知識人コミュニティを立体的に描写。刊行後わずか数カ月で７刷に達し、大きな話題を呼んだ。
学術的視点と現場感覚を兼ね備える舛友氏は、講演やシンポジウムで「華人 100 万時代」の日本社会へのインパクトを論じ、多角的な知見を提供している。
李智慧（Li Zhihui）
李智慧（Li Zhihui）氏は、野村総合研究所未来創発センターのエキスパートとして、中国イノベーション関連の調査研究を主導している。
専門はデジタルエコノミー、メガテックのビジネスモデルと戦略、AI、ブロックチェーンやフィンテックなどの先端企業の事例研究、日本と中国のデジタル産業の比較研究など。
著書に『チャイナ・イノベーションは死なない』、『チャイナ・イノベーション2 中国のデジタル強国戦略』、『チャイナ・イノベーション データを制する者は世界を制する』などがある。
板木栄樹（Hideki Itaki）
板木栄樹は、株式会社アシストにおいて、販売代理店として多くの国内外ソフトウェアの日本での製品事業立ち上げに携わってきた。その後2011年より新商品発掘のミッションに専念しており、世界中にアンテナを張りながら年間数十社のスタートアップと直接コンタクトを取っている。近年は中国のスタートアップとも交流を深めている。

Osaki Innovation Lab is a non-profit innovation platform established by Beyondsoft, a China-listed IT services company with a long-standing presence in the Japanese market, aiming to serve as a bridge for international innovation.
Generative AI has been evolving at an accelerated pace worldwide, and Japan is actively advancing its adoption and application，At the same time, in post-pandemic Japan, interest in entrepreneurship and innovation is surging, giving rise to numerous startups and cutting-edge ideas.

【Speakers】
Edwin Li
Edwin Li is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Flux Inc., a Tokyo-based company delivering cutting-edge ad-tech, data infrastructure, and generative-AI products. He studied Computer Science at the University of Cambridge before transferring to—and graduating from—the Tokyo Institute of Technology, where he conducted deep-learning and large-language-model (LLM) research in Prof. Yutaka Matsuo’s lab.
Edwin’s expertise spans algorithms, machine learning, deep learning, distributed systems, and multimodal LLM architecture. He holds dozens of international patents and peer-reviewed publications. An active open-source contributor, he created the inference engine FluxRT and maintains a popular LLM fine-tuning toolchain. As a Japanese representative to the W3C Advisory Committee, he helps shape open standards and AI-ethics guidelines.
A polymath, Edwin has won medals in International Olympiads in Mathematics, Astronomy, Physics, and Chemistry, as well as a gold medal in the ACM-ICPC Asia Regional. He is a frequent speaker at conferences such as NeurIPS, CEDEC, and PyCon JP, and teaches hands-on courses on generative-AI engineering at universities and industry workshops.
Tomoo Kikuchi
Tomoo Kikuchi is Professor at the Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies, Waseda University, and Director of the Institute of Japan in the Global Economy. He is also an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (NTU Singapore) and a Salzburg Global Fellow. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Bielefeld University, Germany, and specializes in international macroeconomics, economic growth, and international political economy.
Kikuchi previously served as Assistant Professor of Economics at the National University of Singapore (2007–2014), Senior Research Fellow at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (2014–2017), and Professor at Korea University, with visiting appointments at MIT Sloan School of Management and Keio University G-SEC.
He sits on the editorial boards of journals including the Journal of Asian Economics
Yuan Xiao Hang
Yuan Xiaohang is the Venture Partner & Chief Strategy Officer at Skyland Ventures, Yuan Xiaohang supports Japanese startups in expanding into the Chinese market. With extensive cross-border investment experience, he has worked at multiple VC firms in both China and Japan, facilitating key deals between the two ecosystems. Previously, he served as President of e-frontier’s Shanghai subsidiary and led the China arm of Mistletoe (formerly Asian Groove), making him one of the first-generation VC pioneers in China. He later founded his own investment firm, focusing on Japan-China venture collaboration, and remains active in blockchain and crypto communities. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Kyoto University and completed his doctoral coursework in Management at Nagoya University.
Miao Chunting
Miao Chunting is a Founding Partner of Spring Capital Partner.
After graduating from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Miao began his career at Nomura Research Institute, where he worked in consulting and project management. He later joined Mobile Internet Capital (MIC), a well-established venture capital firm under Mizuho Financial Group, where he spent eight years managing investments and fund operations.
With over 18 years of living and working in Japan, Miao possesses deep expertise in both the Chinese and Japanese markets, along with sharp insights into the global business landscape.
Takehiro Masutomo
Takehiro Masutomo is an author specializing in Japan-China relations and the recent wave of Chinese migration to Japan. He holds an M.A. in International Relations from the University of California, San Diego, and has worked as a research fellow at the National University of Singapore (2014–2016) as well as Waseda University.
His landmark book Run-Japan: Tracking China’s Wealthy Exodus to Japan (Toyo Keizai, 2025) distills more than two-and-a-half years of fieldwork and over 100 in-depth interviews, offering a vivid portrait of the social shifts triggered by affluent and highly-educated Chinese relocating to Japan after the pandemic. The book reached its seventh printing within months and sparked wide media debate.
With experience spanning academia, journalism and cross-cultural field research, Yudai provides nuanced insights into how Japan is adapting to what he calls the “One-Million-Chinese Era.”
Li Zhihui
Ms. Li Zhihui joined Nomura Research Institute in 2002 and currently serves as the Head of China Innovation Research at the Center for Strategic Management & Innovation.
She specializes in the digital economy, strategic and business model analysis of mega-tech firms, case studies of leading-edge companies in AI, blockchain, and fintech, and comparative studies of the digital industries in Japan and China.
She is also the author of "INNOVATION IN CHINA" series published by Nikkei BP, including "China Innovation Never Dies", "China Innovation 2: China's Strategy for Becoming a Digital Superpower", and "China Innovation: Those Who Control Data Control the World."
Hideki Itaki
Hideki Itaki has been involved in launching many domestic and international software products as a reseller in Japan at K.K. Ashisuto. Since 2011, he has focused on discovering new products, keeping his eyes and ears open around the world, and establishing direct contact with dozens of startups each year. In recent years, he has also been deepening his exchanges with startups in China.

Qiang Bai is the founder and incubator of TechTabi. He holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Science and Technology of China and a Ph.D. in Statistics from Purdue University. He co-founded three publicly listed tech companies in China and the U.S., including iFlytek, and is currently the co-founder of AbleGPT & KickGPT (AI × Web3) in Japan.
