AUTONOMY: Defiance in the Age of Control
Autonomy: A Meta Betties curated Exhibition
In an era where personal freedoms are hotly contested and redefined, autonomy has never been more topical. This provocative group exhibition, curated by the Meta Betties Collective, invites you to explore a collection of works that boldly reclaim space, assert individuality, and challenge societal boundaries.
Set against the iconic backdrop of the Oculus at the World Trade Center, this cross-reality experience transcends traditional gallery exhibitions. Featuring a range of digital, physical, and live performance art, the show pushes the boundaries of bridged-reality expression with radical depictions that reflect the urgency of self-determination.
The exhibition will debut on October 8h, culminating with a closing reception on October 11th.
During this finale, Allowlist members will witness "The Wage Gag," an exclusive Meta Betties performance confronting the stark inequalities in access to rights and the imposition of stereotypical social and cultural roles on women-identifying bodies. 👁️
