Fruit Sticker Design Workshop @ The Dungeon (MC 2037)
Design Waterloo invites you to a cozy little fruit sticker design workshop — open to designers of all backgrounds and skill levels — purely for the sake of having fun (and making friends, too)
Bring your design weapon of choice (be it figma, your tablet, pen and paper, etc), good vibes, and an open mind. We're here to make cools things, together.
What to expect
🌱 A beginner-friendly environment
🍩 Some sweet treats for the evening
💽 Quick intro circles, follow by a short presentation from us (~10 mins), collaborative moodboarding in figma (~15 mins), then you're free to get designing (~60 mins)!
🌅 A softly-lit, cozy space with bean bags, floor chairs, tables and sofas (despite called the dungeon.)
💻 Bring a laptop for moodboarding! If you don't already have figma for edu, apply here.
🪿 Fellow designers from UW AND WLU :)
How to get there (it can be tricky)
The Dungeon is located inside of MC (Mathematics & Computing) at the University of Waterloo, on the second floor in room 2037. It's the brutalist, concrete box one.
From UW Station, cross the tracks into Ring Road and follow William Tutte Way, by DC Library.
Enter MC via the northeast door at the corner shown here up the stairs, then turn right when you enter the hallway.
The fine print
