​You’re invited to a strategy session and collaborative pitch call hosted by Creators4Humanity—a new initiative building a sustainable cultural power ecosystem in Canada.
​At a time when right-wing media is well-resourced and dominating digital spaces, independent voices—whether journalist or digital creator—face mounting pressure and limited infrastructure. Creators4Humanity is answering that moment by building a cross-platform collective of content creators, storytellers, and cultural organizers committed to equity, truth-telling, and collective liberation.
​This call is an invitation to indie media builders like you. We’ll unpack:
​The Creators4Humanity ecosystem: how it supports creators who are already translating political issues into accessible content—and how indie media outlets can collaborate, amplify, and benefit.
​The pilot funding model: leveraging pooled resources from unions, nonprofits, and progressive orgs to pay creators to create relevant, values-aligned content.
​The long-term vision: building a coordinated infrastructure that centers storytelling, normalizes creator compensation, and strengthens the broader left media ecosystem.
​Opportunities for indie journalists: from collaborative Slack spaces and resource roundups to potential co-posting strategies, studio space sharing, and more.
​Because fighting disinformation and burnout starts with connection—not extraction.
