About Event

We are honored to invite you to a special online offering, Folding Forgiveness — a ceremonial origami workshop rooted in Japanese cultural tradition, regenerative design, and psychedelic-inspired healing practices.

Facilitated by guest Maki J Obara and APC community members, Ayako Monsell, and Noriko Brubeck, this experience guides participants through a journey of inner healing using a blend of quiet reflection, forgiveness letter writing, and the sacred act of folding origami cranes — ancient symbols of hope and transformation.

In this 2 hour workshop, you’ll be guided through:

  • Practicing self-forgiveness and releasing emotional weight

  • Engaging in a creative ritual grounded in tradition and intention

  • Exploring regenerative principles and psychedelic-informed approaches to healing

  • Connect in community reflection and story-sharing

What to Bring:

  • A piece of square shaped paper for origami + letter writing — printer paper is fine!

  • An open heart and quiet space

This intentional workshop has limited spots, ensuring a deeply personal and supportive experience for each participant.

No prior experience with origami necessary. Just your presence.

Let’s fold, forgive, and feel — together. 🕊️

In the spirit of deep connection, this event is specifically for Asians (East, West, South, Central, multicultural, diaspora).
