Talk #1: Building a multi-platform data foundation for ML & Analytics: Learn how ProSiebenSat.1, a pioneer in German media and entertainment, build an effective open Lakehouse using Databricks and Snowflake. Moreover, we demonstrate how leveraging Apache Iceberg as an open table format enables ProSiebenSat.1 to maintain a single source of truth across multiple platforms, accelerates AI/ML initiatives and reduces operational cost and complexity.
Talk #2: Ray-sing Hell: The power of Ray to building a multi-graph ML model ecosystem: We will share Ramblr's insights on using the Ray framework for cost-efficient and scalable inference with multiple ML model graphs for a variety of applications.
With a focus on Ray Serve, we will go from Ray Serve basics through production-level deployment and efficient GPU usage over to the details of hosting a Ray-Cluster on Kubernetes.

Lennard Riedel (LinkedIn): Lennard is a cloud engineer with three years of experience managing infrastructure to deliver scalable and high-performance solutions for Data & AI at ProSiebenSat.1. Initially focused on Robotics and AI during his master’s degree at TUM, he discovered a passion for cloud engineering that led him to transition into this dynamic field. Enthusiastic about leveraging technology to drive innovation, Lennard is dedicated to optimizing cloud environments for enhanced performance. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active through various sports, including football and beach volleyball, and loves meeting new people.
Vijay Kumar Nagaraj (LinkedIn): With nearly a decade of experience in Cloud and Data Engineering, Vijay Kumar Nagaraj has become a expert in architecting and managing cloud & data infrastructure. Recently, he transitioned to the role of Senior Product Owner, where he leads the development & Management of a cutting-edge Data Lakehouse and drives the adoption of data-driven practices across business teams. Vijay's unique blend of technical expertise and strategic vision makes him a valuable asset in bridging the gap between technology and business.
Drago Guggiana Nilo (LinkedIn): Drago joined Ramblr in 2022 as a machine learning expert. Before that, he was a neuroscientist trying to understand how the brain deals with our multidimensional world. This translated directly into his work on extracting knowledge out of multidimensional embeddings to understand what, when and how things are happening in a video.
Martin Dreßler (LinkedIn): Martin worked as a Software Architect at Deutsche Telekom for 10 years and in several customer projects before joining Ramblr in 2022. He is passionate about building "software that works", which delivers a real benefit to its users and makes people happy.
