Pour, Plan & Persist: Women, Parents & The Trump Presidency
What does the future hold for women & parents under a Trump presidency?
Join us on Wednesday evening, December 11 for a virtual wine tasting & fireside chat with attorney, author, and award-winning podcast host, Misasha Suzuki Graham.
Tickets start at just $20, with the option to donate more if you’d like. 100% of proceeds will go directly to support the ACLU!
As we move towards a Trump presidency, many of us are wondering how upcoming policy changes may impact women and families. What changes and challenges lie ahead and, more importantly, how can we take action within our own communities to make a difference?
Please join me for an important conversation (accompanied by wine) with Misasha Suzuki Graham: attorney, author, and advocate for equity and inclusion.
A graduate of Harvard College and Columbia Law School, Misasha has nearly 20 years of experience as a litigator and is the co-author of Dear White Women: Let’s Get (Un)comfortable Talking About Racism. She has been featured on FOX, NBC, Forbes, and Good Day LA, and recently gave a TEDx talk on the connection between asking questions and affirming humanity. Misasha also volunteered her time and legal expertise to safeguard election rights during this pivotal election season.
This virtual BYOB wine tasting will pair a side-by-side wine tasting with a conversation with Misasha who will share her insights into what the next four years might mean for women and parents, from reproductive rights to education policy.
Most importantly, she will also share what tangible actions we can all take within our local communities to make a difference.
All are invited to join us in this important conversation.
Come sip, build a plan, and leave ready to persist with purpose!
