Meanwhile, rising geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and political polarization in the U.S. remind us that sustainability is also about resilience, justice, and democratic collaboration.
In an era of uncertainty, shaped by rapid technological change, scarcer resources, and shifting global power structures, it seems more likely that this is the new normal rather than a passing phase. The question is no longer if we must adapt, but how.
Adaptability has always been part of the role. Now, it may be the role itself.
