About Event

After a short break, our Conversations On Creativity events, in partnership with the V&A Waterfront's Artist Alliance, are returning. We are excited to announce our first talk for 2024 in the series.

This talk, hosted by Modupe Oloruntoba a renowned fashion industry insider, writer, and consultant and African Fashion Weekly, will explore the process of building a career in fashion and navigating the industry's business side. Industry experts will share valuable insights on building a fashion brand, marketing and sales strategies, and overcoming challenges, drawing from their journeys and experiences. The discussion will cover a range of key topics, including creating a unique brand identity, awards and prizes, representation and accessibility in fashion, navigating marketing and sales, staying true to one's vision, and the future of fashion and trends to watch.
