CPRA Application Lab: Strategies for Articulating the Impact of your Past and Future Research
As part of our ongoing support for Canada Postdoctoral Research Award (CPRA) applicants, the Postdoctoral Office together with the Knowledge to Impact team invites you to the next session in the CPRA Application Lab series.
With the Tri-Agencies' adoption of the Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA), funding applications like the CPRA are considering more diverse contributions and pathways to impact. This means that demonstrating your research impact is more critical than ever. This hands-on session is designed to give you the practical tools to weave a compelling narrative of impact and significance throughout your CPRA application.
In this workshop, you will learn how to:
Craft powerful "Contributions" sections that frame your most significant achievements and highlight your unique scholarly trajectory.
Articulate the potential impact of your proposed postdoctoral research in clear, persuasive terms.
Develop effective strategies for knowledge mobilization and translation for academic and non-academic audiences.
Go beyond listing your accomplishments to make your application more compelling and memorable.
