Coding,Communication and Covid - a computational biologist's take with Dr. Bethany Dearlove
About Bethany:
Bethany is a computational biologist with 14 years experience in international academic and non-profit research settings. Her research considers how we can use genetic sequence data to understand how viruses spread and evolve in response to treatments and vaccines. Largely self-taught in coding, she primarily works in R, dabbling in other languages when needed. She has particular interest in data visualisation, reproducibility and science communication, teaching courses and peer mentoring in both R and SciComm.
