π’ Model Mafia: Celebrating 8 Years of Climate Action & Launching Inaugural Model Mentorship Program
βSince its founding Model Mafia has been dedicated to investing in model leadership and affirming the skill, opportunity, and inventive work fashion models do from in front of and behind the camera in building culture. We know that with our collective power we can take powerful climate action, particularly through strategic communication and raising the ambition inside our industry we can help make the world just and sustainable.
βFrom showing up at marches and rallies to the #SupplyChange anti-deforestation campaign, organizing clothing swaps, book groups, and film screenings, to fundraising for frontline communities pushing back against climate chaos, we gather to celebrate organizing in unlikely spaces and support each otherβs visions for a more caring present and future.Β
βSPECIAL NOTE: this will also serve as the launch for our inaugural model mentorship program, matching up-and-coming talent with experienced mentors in their area of interest (media creation, health, business, art, politics etc). If youβd like to be part of this program, please fill out this intake form, weβll do our best to match everyone who applies!
