About Event

Spending time in another discipline not only helps you consider new career options. It broadens your exposure to new types of research and makes you more employable as a contractor. In this talk series, three researchers discuss their experiences in a different  product role. Sasha in product marketing, Shenoah in content design and Simran in a variety of roles including Application and Production Support.

What will be covered:

  • The new roles they started and why research experience set them up well

  • The type of research they carried out in their new roles

  • Returning to, or in Simran’s case, starting a new career in research

  • How they position their experience and view their research careers now
