Join us on May 30th in Toronto for an inspiring evening focused on celebrating the power of investing in women entrepreneurs. Come out to Cineplex Yonge & Dundas for an exclusive screening of “Show Her the Money”, a new documentary that follows the fundraising journey of four women founders along with venture partner Pocket Sun of SoGal Ventures.
The screening will be followed by a panel with the producers of the movie, investors, and women founders and a post networking reception at the DMZ. This is your chance to connect with the Toronto startup ecosystem while celebrating a powerful message.

The state of fundraising fireside chat will feature two venture capital investors along with a successful founder. We'll walk through how to approach the fundraising process, tips to close a successful fundraise, and the challenges you may experience as a woman entrepreneur. Our featured speakers include:
Naseem Sayani, Co-Founder and General Partner of Emmeline Ventures, an early stage fund investing in businesses that are helping women manage their health, build their wealth, and live in a cleaner, safer world. Naseem brings over 20 years of experience in venture capital, business building, digital innovation, and digital strategy. She is also part of the Show Her the Money team.
Inara Lalani, Co-Founder & CEO of FemTherapeutics, a medical device company that is leveraging AI and 3D printing to develop the first category of personalized prosthetics for women's health. FemTherapeutics has gone on to be named as Canada's Top 20 Most Innovative Companies by CIX and Inara has been named Forbes 30 Under 30 and Bay Street Bull's Women of the Year.
Neha Khera, an early-stage investor for over a decade, having led investments in over 60 companies, including Applyboard, Mejuri, Benchsci and Fightcamp. Most recently Neha was General Partner at 2048 Ventures, a NY-based early stage fund. Prior to that, Neha was co-founder and General Partner of 500 Startups Canada.
