About Event
For our next quarterly meeting, we’ll head to Ekone Ranch northeast of Goldendale. We’ll learn about Ekone’s two prescribed burns that MARS and the PBA helped support, one in the fall of 2024 and the other just a couple of weeks ago. We’ll talk about differing fire behavior and impacts of a spring vs a fall burn, burn unit preparation, landowner outreach and more! We’ll use the second part of our meeting for group discussion about prescribed fire monitoring and some of the key information that we’d like to collect as a PBA to help gauge the impacts of our efforts.
The Ekone Ranch team has generously offered to feed us dinner as well, so come hungry!
