Delian is one of under 10 partners at the $15B fund and is considered the best seed investor in the world within the deep tech space. With early bets on SpaceX, Palantir, Stripe, and Anduril, the firm has built a reputation for conviction investing in founders tackling complex, high-stakes problems.

​He is also CEO of Varda Space Industries, which is redefining manufacturing by taking it off-planet. As the first company focused on industrial production in space, Varda is building orbital factories that leverage microgravity to manufacture high-value materials - from advanced pharmaceuticals to semiconductors - that are impossible to produce on Earth.

​Delian dropped out of MIT in 2013 to become a Thiel Fellow.
