Differentiating Your Show In A Crowded Market | Podcast Marketing Academy September Roundtable Series
Five years ago, you could launch a solid (if unspectacular) show with solid (if unspectacular) production and there was a pretty good chance you'd be able to grow organically.
The reason is there just weren't all that many shows in existence, leaving potential listeners with fewer options to choose between.
Fast forward to today and that's no longer the case.
Most niches are overflowing with shows. In many popular niches (true crime, online business, and fitness come to mind immediately) there are literally hundreds of similar shows all competing for the eyes and ears of the same listeners.
Worse, many of those shows have big budgets, full production teams with impressive pedigrees, and the backing of mainstream networks & media companies.
So what are you supposed to do if you don't have any of those advantages?
The answer isn't to make the best show on your topic.
Instead, it's to make a show that is obviously, unmistakably, and compellingly different from any of the other shows currently in existence.
In this live roundtable session, we’ll discuss how to create a show that's different from the other available offerings as well as communicate those differentiators to your ideal target listeners.
The session will consist of 30-40 minutes of facilitated panel discussion followed by attendee Q&A.
