BioFi Deep Dive: Flow Funds
Flow funds are an important modular component that can be deployed under a BFF. They can enable participatory resource allocation - harnessing the collective intelligence of a place and the community there. Please join us to hear from our friends at Regenerosity and Kinship Earth — who are both running flow funds. Faith Flanigan, 360 Lead at Regenerosity, and Sydney Harvey, Executive Director at Kinship Earth, will share about why flow funding is important, how it aligns with the philosophy of BioFi, how their flow funds work, and how you can possibly start your own.

This is where theory meets practice. The monthly BioFi Deep Dive is a focused 1.5 hour discussion on a particular aspect of BioFi. We’ll gather our collective intelligence to examine a specific design challenge and share the lessons we’ve learned and new questions we’ve opened from our real-world experience.
Each month, Samantha Power and relevant guests will kick off the conversation by grounding us in a shared context and inquiry, and then we’ll open up into emergent discussion with small groups and the whole.
We want to hear from you! What aspects of BioFi and BFFs are you most excited to dive into? What are critical inquiries in the broader space that would benefit from discussion here? Join the BioFi Community of Practice on Hylo and share your ideas there!

the enabling conditions that need to be in place for BFFs to be successful

legal structures available in diverse contexts
effective storytelling and MRV
