Google Labs Creative Makeathon
A 2-day creative Makeathon organized by Google Labs to challenge and explore the relationship between AI and creatives.
Join us for a day of speakers (including guests from Curious Refuge and CAA), workshops, mixers, and fireside chats at Google's Playa Vista offices, followed by a second day of focused collaboration and experimentation at the Iovine and Young Academy of the University of Southern California.
Track 1: Create an original work of art where AI plays a significant role, either as a creative medium in itself or as an integral part of the artistic process.
Track 2A: Develop an AI-driven tool that empowers creators in a specific field to overcome common challenges, streamline their workflows, or discover novel avenues for expression.
Track 2B: Propose a speculative concept, prototype, or thought experiment that pushes the boundaries of what is currently possible with AI in the realm of creativity.
Food and light snacks will be provided during the event. We strongly recommend bringing a personal laptop to both days of the event. Carpooling is strongly recommended. Student leads will lead groups to take public transportation for those interested.
What is Google Labs? Labs.google is Google's home for the latest AI tools, technology and discourse. It's a team that's busy testing hypotheses, learning from one another and creating new technology, together.
