About Event

Building in public seems like a great way to grow community around people and products. But what’s it like to do in reality? Hear the experiences and lessons learned from:

Blake Emal (@heyblake) is the CMO of Copy.Ai, and building Float in public.

Steph Smith (@stephsmithio) leads Trends at The Hustle (acquired by HubSpot). She's a serial indie maker, writer + marketer. She's been a nomad since 2016 & has traveled to 50+ countries while working, learning to code + creating.

Jen Yip (@lunchbag) is the founder of Lunch Money, a multicurrency personal finance tool for the modern day spender. She is currently based in Taipei, Taiwan!

Arvid Kahl (@arvidkahl) is a software engineer turned entrepreneur. He co-founded and ran FeedbackPanda, an online teacher productivity SaaS company, with his partner Danielle Simpson. They sold the business for a life-changing amount of money in 2019, two years after founding the business. He is the author of the best-selling book Zero to Sold and just released The Embedded Entrepreneur.

They will share their experiences of building in public via audio lightning talks on our Discord Community.
