About Event

This Friday (9 Dec), Panvala joins us to share how communities can raise funds for other communities. HEA needs people who align with our mission to pursue preventive health while helping others do so. We’ve joined Panvala to help us further our impact. Closing our last community gathering of the year will be Tatiana Rosa - artist, contemporary dance teacher and somatic experience. She will be taking us through a mind-body experiment where we can harness the power of a collective ritual to close the year and open new doors in 2023.

About Panvala

Panvala is a digital treasury for communities to share. In today’s economy, many businesses make money by selling your attention, data, and habits as a product. Panvala’s idea is to give you and the community the option to only receive content, resources and solutions from other businesses/communities aligned with your values.

Panvala began as a self-sustaining endowment fund with a group of pioneer communities. Its proof of concept is seen in the continuous distribution of funds to its member communities since its inception in 2020. Today, funds are earned through the collection of stamps. For each stamp you collect Panvala matches those funds, so the more your community collects, the more it earns.

Join us to learn more about how Panvala works, and how it might work for you!

About Tatiana

Tatiana Rosa is an artist and contemporary dance teacher with a focus on improvisation and embodiment/somatic education. She received an ApArtes/CAPES scholarship (an agency of the Brazilian Ministry of Education) in 1999 and 2000 to study at Trisha Brown Dance Company, in New York. Trisha Brown is one of the leading artists of Postmodern Dance, an artistic movement of the 1960s that was instrumental in establishing the field that is now known as Somatics. Tatiana has been developing her choreographic and pedagogical work for the last 20 years strongly based on this reference. She developed a master's thesis about it and was a university professor (UERGS - BR) for nine years. She continues her work with independent dancers and non-dancers, researching the boundaries between these two positions, as well as between art, health, citizenship, and social activism. She is currently studying for certification in Somatic Experiencing, having completed the Intermediate level.

After Hours is a bi-weekly community hangout to share gratitude, build meaningful friendships and discuss updates and direction for the project.
