Event Description
Join Canada's Black Talent Initiative as we commemorate Juneteenth, a historic day of significance for Black communities in the United States and around the world. On June 19th, we invite you to join us for an evening of reflection, education, and celebration as we honour the resilience and achievements of the Black community.

At our Juneteenth event, we'll come together to amplify voices advocating for racial justice and equity, drawing parallels between the struggles faced by Black communities in Canada and the United States. Through discussions, performances, and interactive experiences, we'll explore the shared history and ongoing fight for freedom, equality, and liberation.

This event serves as a platform to highlight the rich culture and contributions of Black Americans, while also acknowledging the global impact of Black history and the interconnectedness of struggles against systemic racism and discrimination.

Join us as we embrace the spirit of solidarity and empowerment, commemorating Juneteenth as a day of reflection, celebration, and envisioning a more inclusive and equitable future for all.
