Ai Salon: Government and Tech
Join us for an evening of discussion as we explore a critical dynamic shaping our society and democracy: the evolving relationship between Big Tech and government, particularly in the wake of the 2024 US election.
We'll explore the below and more:
The relationship between tech companies and governments, and how that relationship might evolve in the next four years
How the current and evolving tech and government relationship could influence AI policy at this critical moment
The concept of techno-authoritarianism (recommended reading includes "The Rise of Techno-Authoritarianism")
This is an in-person event. To facilitate smooth and cohesive conversations, please arrive between 5:30-6pm for a prompt discussion start at 6pm. Individuals who arrive after 6pm will not be able to get into the venue.
