As part of Student Innovation Week, StartUP FIU is hosting Student Spotlights on Thursday September 2nd from 4:00pm-5:00pm (EST). Join us and a panel of FIU graduate and undergraduate students on Zoom as we discuss what it is like to be a food entrepreneur and how these students started their business in the food industry.
Student Spotlight is a mini-series part of Student Innovation Week hosted by StartUP FIU. Through a series of Pecha Kucha** talks, students from our community get to share their experiences as entrepreneurs and innovators in their field! From social entrepreneurship to the unconventional student path, we will hear from our very own FIU panthers as well as students from our neighboring Miami based universities.
For our “Becoming a Food Entrepreneur” Student Spotlight, three students will be sharing their journey on what it’s like to create new paths for themselves as student innovators and young professionals in the food industry.
**Pecha Kucha is a storytelling format where a presenter shows 20 slides for 20 seconds of commentary each.
Who is this event for?
We invite students from all majors! If you are from Business, Hospitality, or Computer Engineering all the way to Biology. Students who wish to learn more about different paths and explore how the entrepreneurial mindsets of others have helped pave innovative ways to success.
