This year I will be a reader at the

Langston Hughes Community Poetry Reading Sunday, February 2, 1 to 3 pmRISD Auditorium17 Canal Walk, Providence RISD’s Center for Community Partnerships welcomes the Langston Hughes Community Poetry Reading to campus. Artists, musicians, writers, literary enthusiasts, and civic and political leaders, and RISD’s own President Crystal Williams, will come together to perform selected poems from Hughes’ extensive collection.The event is free to attend, and co-directors April Brown and Kai Cameron invite all to come out to “see and be seen” and celebrate the legacy of a great American writer.
