About Event

Join us to discuss #CX integration — from side project to strategic pillar!

Our upcoming Led by Design meetup includes 2 talks followed by vibrant networking in the heart of Berlin.

We'll hear from design leaders from HelloFresh and Congstar, on how they manifested their CX vision through customer journeys & service blueprinting and what it takes to move beyond artifacts. They'll talk about CX integration in their respective enterprises and how might we use CX strategy as a tool to connect silos across the organization and drive change!

Our esteemed speakers:

📌 Peter Eisele, Head of Customer Journey at Congstar

📌 Zunaira Naqvi, Staff Product Designer at Hello Fresh

📌 Marc Mellone, UX Design Director at Hello Fresh

Special thanks to HelloFresh for providing us with their venue, drinks, and nibbles for this event!

⚡ What to expect?

This meetup is the second of three summer meetups in the Design-Led Summer series, each with a distinct theme wrapped in well-known Berlin summer vibes — or we can at least pretend it's summer 🤠

Expect an evening packed with insights and inspiration, followed by vibrant networking on the charming rooftop with fellow senior design professionals, leaders, managers, and strategists coming from product design, UX, CX, service design, DesignOps, and ResearchOps!

Doors will open at 18:20 h, and the program will start at 19:00 h sharp, after which it won't be possible to access the venue. We advise you to arrive between 18:20 - 18:55 to ensure a spot.

💡 Important note

LBD events are intended for senior design professionals and leaders and the guestlist is carefully curated to create quality exchange at the peer level. Each pre-registration is subject to approval to ensure intended professional seniority among participants. Entrance is only possible with a valid ticket upon approval.

Please note we are not able to approve registrations from professionals at entry or mid-level, interns, or recent bootcamp graduates.

About Led by Design

We are a Berlin-based community for senior design professionals, leaders and their allies focused on design strategy, operations, leadership, and collaboration culture. For the past year our team organised events with Netlight, GetYourGuide, Doctolib, N26 and Thoughtworks.

While most of our members come from Product Design & UX, we welcome allies and senior professionals from non-design disciplines such as product, engineering, data and strategy — because the only way to break out of the silo and learn from each other is to engage in an open dialogue and tear down the fictional barriers.

Led by Design. is a partner of Berlin Design Network / Berlin Design e.V.

About HelloFresh

Our host for this evening, HelloFresh is world's most popular cooking box on a mission to change the way people eat — forever. Originating from Germany, it is the largest meal-kit provider in the United States, and with steady operations in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Europe.

💡Event FAQ

Who can apply for this event?

LBD meetups are intended exclusively for seasoned design professionals, leaders, people managers, and strategists in product design, UX, CX, service design, DesignOps, and ResearchOps. We also welcome allies and senior professionals from non-design disciplines such as product, engineering, data, and strategy.

What is your no-show or cancellation policy?

LBD meetups are run on a voluntary effort in partnership with our hosts to enable quality content and experience for all participants free of charge. Yet the organization and realization of each event come at an expense: working hours of everyone involved, cost of catering, drinks, and energy. Not showing up means indifference to such efforts and taking space for those genuinely interested in joining.

Therefore we kindly ask you to register only if you are 100% sure you can attend in person in Berlin and upon pre-registration, you are asked to tick the box to confirm your attendance. If you can no longer make it despite confirming, we kindly ask you to immediately cancel your ticket.

For the sake of fairness, last-minute cancellations and 2 no-shows without any notice will result in a ban from future events.

Can I enter after the doors close?

It is not possible to enter after the doors close from 19:00 onwards to ensure our program starts on time. We recommend arriving between 18:20—18:55 to find the venue on time, grab a refreshment and relax before the event starts.

How can I get involved?

There are plenty of ways to get involved and help us create great event experiences, e.g.
✅ propose topics for upcoming events
✅ apply as a speaker to share your challenges and learnings
✅ nominate a speaker
✅ co-host our upcoming meetup as event partner (providing your space, catering, and refreshments)
✅ spread the word and share your impressions on social media

Can I bring someone with me?

Your friend or colleague is most welcome to join if they have a valid ticket in their name, meaning that their registration was previously approved just like yours.

Can I join the event without a ticket or approval?

No, walk-ins are not allowed. Pre-registrations don't guarantee attendance and are subject to approval. Tickets are being issued upon approval.

Can I bring a dog or pet?

Dogs are pets and are not allowed at the event premises unless they are assistance dogs.

Do you have an accessibility policy?

Accessibility policies depend on the host company. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to participate fully and equally in our events and in case you have any special requirements, do not hesitate to contact us upfront, so we can do our best to accommodate it.

What is your code of conduct?

This is a professional networking event focused on exchanging and fostering inspiring and meaningful conversations.
