Session Brief:
This session will explore how to manage stress and burnout unique to cybersecurity professionals and discuss the application of research-supported tools for tackling self judgement, being less rule-bound, and learning how to enjoy life outside of work. Prior to the workshop, we encourage participants to register for free for Dr. Sara's cyber wellbeing skills app as an extended resource after the session.

Speaker Bio:
Dr. Sara, a clinical psychologist, workplace wellbeing expert, and entrepreneur, is dedicated to enhancing mental health in high-performance environments—particularly in cybersecurity and tech.

As Founder of Pacific Mindful Wellbeing @ Work and Co-Founder of the EquiSkills App, Dr. Sara specializes in fusing psychology with technology to create science-backed, on-demand wellbeing programs that tackle stress, burnout, and engagement in fast-paced industries.

With a Ph.D. from the University of Oregon and training at the Veterans Health Administration and Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, Dr. Sara brings deep expertise in evidence-based mental health interventions. She is also extensively trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) through UCSD’s Center for Mindfulness.

Her work is all about empowering individuals and organizations with human-centered, psychology-driven strategies to navigate the demands of an AI-driven world.
