Main Topics
Cultural heritage is a shared value and resource. Ensuring its sustainable preservation and development must therefore also be a shared responsibility. Could partnerships between institutions, NGOs, and businesses be the key to developing cultural heritage in Bulgaria? What is the role of local communities, and how can citizens be actively involved in the cause of heritage?
The event will gather leading international and Bulgarian experts, representatives of professional organizations, and both private and public sectors, who will present best practices and discuss innovative solutions for sustainable management, financing, and social engagement with cultural heritage.
The forum will also provide opportunities for professional networking, experience exchange, and building collaborations among various stakeholders.
Confirmed speakers include Prof. Todor Krastev (ICOMOS Bulgaria), Arch. Graham Bell (Europa Nostra, United Kingdom), Zsolt Szokolai (European Commission), Ana-Maria Mitroi-Ciobica (European Investment Bank), Prof. Thomas Danzl (Technical University of Munich), Prof. Jörg Haspel (ICOMOS Germany), Catalina Gaete (EuroClio, Netherlands), Dr. Ricard Conesa (EUROM, University of Barcelona), Dr. Leila Signorelli and Dr. Alessia Zampini (University of Bologna), and numerous other distinguished experts from Bulgaria and abroad.
