It's our August edition of the Woodlands Botanical Garden BioBlitz and Sharing!
We will start off the day with an early morning exploration of the Woodlands Botanical Garden and its rich biodiversity.
Using the iNaturalist app, we will look for wildlife and record it, just like a Pokemon hunt! By doing so, we help do citizen science for Singapore's natural environment.
After the BioBlitz, Constance Chow, an ambassador from NParks' Communities in Bloom programme, will share with us her knowledge about using herbs in cooking! From the classics like basil, to less common herbs these days like the tasty ulam raja, learn how to use herbs to add colour and fragrance to the dining table!
