Meetings are generally held on the 4th Wednesday of every month. Join us for a night of networking and empowerment for black founders in the Pacific Northwest. Light food and beverages will be served; free and convenient parking.
Keynoting on Aug 28th: Enrique Godreau III
We are so looking forward to Jamar "Doc" Montgomery's fireside chat interview with Enrique Godreau, incontrovertibly one of the most consequential people that helped shape the early venture capital scene in Seattle.
Enrique is a business, technology, and investment professional with broad experience starting, growing and funding market leading products and enterprises.
For 15 years, he served in research, product development and business management roles at Xerox PARC, Adobe and Gartner. In 1996, he cofounded Voyager Capital, a Seattle-based, early-stage venture capital firm where for 16 years he led investments in software, wireless and digital technology businesses.
He later joined UP Global, the nonprofit parent company of Startup Weekend, Startup Week and other entrepreneur-focused programs. More recently, he has been a consultant, investor, advisor and board member supporting entrepreneurs, government agencies, non-profits and venture investors.
Enrique earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
