About Event

Who we are

We’re the community building the future of energy. We help energy professionals find information, collaborate, and accelerate their careers with AI.

Collide is brought to you by the Digital Wildcatters team, based in Houston.

We’re on a mission to empower and level up the next generation of energy professionals.

As one of the world’s most technically advanced industries, it’s vital that we unlock the potential of AI. We also believe that better connecting everyone in the industry will have an enormous impact.

What we’re building

We're developing AI-powered solutions to enhance various aspects of the energy industry. From ranking content and interactions on Collide to generating detailed well life descriptions and workover procedures, our goal is to build intelligent systems that utilize data from real-world sources like UT Lands, drilling handbooks, and engineering resources. These projects aim to make energy operations more efficient, data-driven, and user-friendly.

Tech Stack: Your choice. At DW we use python, ruby on rails, and javascript frameworks for our products along with OpenAI, Llama, and Mistral

Our challenge for you - 3 options:

  1. Posts, comments, & content ranking engine for Collide - data includes posts, fake user profiles

  2. Drilling AI to describe the "life of the well" - data includes UT lands county wells, drilling engineer handbooks

  3. Workover AI to write procedures - data includes UT lands, production/petroleum engineer books
