​​About Jake Hostetler

​​Jake Hostetler is the Associate Director of Business Development at Emerald Cloud Lab: the world's first fully remote-controlled research facility. As a member of the global business development team, Jake works primarily with startups to drive adoption of cloud lab technology, and create a paradigm where scientists and idea-havers don't succumb to limitations of access or time. Prior to joining Emerald, Jake worked in pharmaceutical services, software, blockchain, and neurodegenerative disease therapeutics. These experiences allowed him to live across the world in places like Germany, South Korea, and India, and foster a global mindset focused on discovering areas of alignment across seemingly unrelated sectors. An avid writer and storyteller, Jake has also published three books across children's, young adult, and adult fiction.
