About Event

The Mixer is an inclusive and welcoming event series for regular social connection and sharing among individuals and organisations working in the impact sector in Bangkok 🇹🇭

Why? There are so many great social and environmental impact initiatives happening in our city, but often we're too busy to regularly connect, build friendships, share what we are working on and discover ways we might collaborate and mutually support one other ✨

Each event will be co-hosted with different community partner and provide opportunities for those joining to share their current initiatives, learning experiences, and/or practical collaboration opportunities.

This February, we are co-hosting with Impact Hub Bangkok @ Slowcombo during Bangkok Design Week 2024: Regenerative Commodities Exhibition

Organized by Ctrl+R Collective, interdisciplinary collective that aims to inspire, educate, and empower everyone to collectively explore and be part of the regenerative movement towards a regenerative future. This is an Official Program, part of Bangkok Design Week 2024.

Exclusive for the Big Mango Impact Mixer, you are invited to join on Sunday 4th of February for a private guided exhibition tour from 12.00 - 13.00PM, following by an opportunity to connect to kick-off 2024 with a meaningful collaboration!

This month-long exhibition features a variety of experiences (workshops, panel discussions, activities, parties and more) that dives into food & water, fashion, textiles, art & design, designed to encourage mindful and spiritual possibilities of a regenerative future. The conference includes a variety of collaborations with leading figures and organizations, such as Practika, Sivatel Bangkok, Ground Control, Soho House Bangkok, The Food Trust, Studio Persona, PRIDI cacaofevier, Reviv Community, Notep Store, Wasteland, and many more.

If Sunday, February 4th, is not convenient for you, the Regenerative Commodities Exhibition, featuring various experiences, will be taking place from January 27th to February 25th. You are welcome to visit at anytime. Please check @Slowcombo or @CtrlR.Collective Instagram page for the discussion panel and activities schedule: https://www.instagram.com/ctrlr.collective

It is co-hosted by independent volunteers and organisations in Bangkok on a rotational basis to keep the content interesting and representation diverse. Please reach out if you’re keen to co-host the next one!

Know someone who might want to join? Feel free to share this invite with them, but be mindful that we are curating the participants to ensure an inclusive and participatory space.
