Strapi 5 + Next.js - the modern, Open-Source Stack - Alex Bodin

Using a modern, open-source stack (Strapi 5 + Next.js) as a case study, we'll do a deep dive into best practices for drafting and previewing your content for blazing-fast and scalable websites.

Design System Patterns for Server Components - James Q Quick

Server components change the way we build for the modern web, and design systems must adjust accordingly. So, how do you encapsulate design and interactivity for larger UI elements without compromising performance while taking advantage of the latest features in React and Next.js? In this talk, we’ll explore new patterns for managing forms, state, and interactivity without forcing everything to be a client component. We’ll learn these patterns in the context of VIBES, a brand-new UI library for composable websites.

Building Video-Driven Web Apps with Mux, Strapi, and Next.js - Erik Peña

In this talk, we’ll explore the journey of migrating the Mux plugin from Strapi v4 to v5. We'll walk through the challenges faced during the transition, how ultimately created the final version, and explore some of the features of the plugin. Attendees will learn how this migration enhances workflows, reduces complexity, and enables seamless video experiences in modern Next.js applications.

TCP vs. WebSockets vs. HTTP for Postgres queries - Raouf Chebri

In this talk, I will walk you through our journey developing Neon's serverless driver, and experimenting with various protocols and environments to lower Postgres query latencies.

Bringing state to Next.js Serverless Functions with Inngest - Tony Holdstock-Brown

Many successful startups, such as Resend and Day.ai, use Inngest’s Durable Functions to build core features relying on workflows and long-running background processes. In this talk, Tony will drive you through the benefits of Durable Functions and how they enable Next.js developers to build SaaSs.

Location
Mux
50 Beale St floor 9, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA
Mux HQ at 50 Beale Street, 9th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94105. You might notice that the name on the building when you arrive is 300 Mission - This building was once the home of Blue Shield of California. At that time, the entrance was located at 300 Mission Street. After an extensive remodel, the main entrance (and official address) was moved over to 50 Beale Street. For reasons we still don’t quite understand, they still call the building 300 Mission - so don’t be alarmed when you arrive at 50 Beale Street and see a big sign with that address - You ARE at the right place!
