About Event

What is Spirit calling us to in this moment? How can we employ the power of prayer to support and bear witness to each other? In this time of political turmoil, when many of us are concerned for the future of democracy, Friends are invited to come together in a worship space held jointly by Beacon Hill Friends House and the Friends Committee on National Legislation on Election Day, November 8, 2022 from 7 to 9 pm, EST.

Friends may join in person either in Boston at Beacon Hill Friends or in DC at FCNL’s Quaker Welcome Center. Friends may also join remotely. When you register, you can let us know if you are planning to worship with us in person or remotely.

Beacon Hill Friends House is located at 6-8 Chestnut St, Boston, MA 02108.

The Quaker Welcome Center is located across the street from the Hart Senate Office Building at 245 Second Street NE, Washington, DC 20002.

INFORMATION FOR ATTENDING AT THE FCNL QUAKER WELCOME CENTER:

Please enter through the FCNL courtyard: 245 2nd St NE, Washington, DC 20002.
QWC capacity for in-person attendance is limited to 10 people.

COVID POLICIES:

All people attending in person at BHFH or FCNL’s Quaker Welcome Center are required to be up to date on vaccination against COVID-19 and wear a mask while inside.
