Cursor Hack Day - Toronto
We’re trying something new: an experimental, low-pressure hack half-day powered by unlimited Cursor usage. Think of it as a sandbox session to finally build the thing you've been putting off -or ran out of credits for.
What’s this all about?
Instead of a 48-hour race to nowhere, this is your afternoon to sit down and finally make progress on that project you keep saying you’ll get to.
A half-day build sprint with zero rate limits on Cursor
Work solo (for now - future ones may have team formations)
Bring any project you’ve already started or an idea that’s been sitting in your notes
Want to start something new? Go for it. But you don’t have to; finishing your projects is encouraged!
No themes. No required tech stacks. No slides. Just bring your laptop, your curiosity, and whatever you’re excited to build or finish.
Agenda
12:00 - 12:30 - doors open & settle in
12:30 - 4:30 - hack
4:30 - 6:00 - quick show-and-tells (highly recommend) w/ audience voting!
Why attend?
Knock out that side project you’ve been sleeping on
Reclaim your flow with unlimited Cursor tokens
Meet other users, share tricks, and build cool stuff IRL
Snacks, drinks, and soft encouragement provided
Will there be prizes?
We’ll do a casual show-and-tell and vote for a favourite by audience - winners get Cursor credits and maybe something more fun next time 👀
This is just the beginning...
We're experimenting with these smaller events to see what sticks. If this goes well, we’ll do more - maybe with themes, workshops, teams, or other fun formats. If you’ve got feedback or wild ideas, we’d love to hear them. Please reach out!
Space is limited — RSVP to join!
*** More information to follow on how the unlimited Cursor usage would work, this is all new and experimental at this stage so figuring out the best way possible!
