About Event

Join us for an engaging conversation with some of Boston's most inspiring creatives and entrepreneurs who are shaping the city's future. From branding to hospitality, our panelists will share their journeys, challenges, and triumphs, as well as what Black Excellence means to them. For those attending in-person at the Boston office, stick around afterward for an evening of networking and delicious appetizers!

All guests must be 21+ to attend, and registration for the event closes on Tuesday, February 18th.

Event Agenda:

  • 5:30 pm: Registration starts

  • 6:00 pm: Pre-panel networking in Boston HQ

  • 6:30 pm: Panel discussion begins (if you're not at the Boston office, you can tune in remotely!)

  • 7:15 pm: Networking begins in Boston office

  • 7:30 pm: Event ends!

The panel is hosted by Klaviyo's BLACC Employee Resource Group. Black Leaders for Advancing Community and Culture (BLACC) strives to empower and advance our global Black community at Klaviyo through building awareness, community, and leadership while championing equity at the forefront of all we do. 

Food will be catered by Fresh Food Generation, a Caribbean- American restaurant, food truck and catering company combining New England ingredients with bold Caribbean and Southern flavors to create a meal that’s enticing and fresh.

Arrival & Registration:

Please proceed to the lobby security at 125 Summer Street. When visiting the office, please bring a government-issued ID for easy check-in.

Then take the elevator to the 6th floor. You’ll check into our office by completing a form on our iPad.

Please arrive before 6:30 pm, as you will not be able to enter after that time.

Parking: 

There is a garage located underneath the building. For the GPS, please use - 125 Summer Street Garage.

Public Transportation: 

Klaviyo's office is located across the street from South Station where many commuter lines end, buses arrive and the MBTA red line stops.

Pariss Chandler

Founder & CEO of the Black Tech Pipeline

Pariss Chandler is the Founder & CEO of Black Tech Pipeline, a platform connecting Black tech talent to career opportunities, and companies to Black technologists. Known for mobilizing the #BlackTechTwitter community, Pariss has been featured in Forbes, TechCrunch, The Boston Globe, and more for her advocacy in diversity, equity, and inclusion within the tech industry.

Robert Eugene

Restaurant Owner of Hue Boston, Rosebar, and Blue Nile

Robert Eugene, owner of New American restaurant, Hue Boston, Latin American restaurant, Rosebar and Ethiopian restaurant, Blue Nile, is a trailblazing entrepreneur and creative marketer, who has dedicated over two decades to transforming the nightlife entertainment, hospitality, and spirits industries in Boston. With a passion for breaking down barriers and opening doors for people of color, Robert has consistently pushed the boundaries of what is possible in Boston.

His innovative approach to event creation, production, and experiential marketing, coupled with his expertise in on-premise management, has earned him a reputation as a visionary leader in the industry. Robert is also a co-curator of Silk R&B Party and World Afrika, both community-based events centered around celebrating culture and Black joy.

Robert's intentionality in introducing spaces and creating spaces where people of color were previously denied or overlooked, is evident in all of his endeavors. Robert's goal is to help reimagine and shape a new Boston.

Stanley Rameau

Founder & CEO of Renavest

Stanley Rameau is the Founder and CEO of Renavest, a platform that connects financial therapists with companies seeking to help employees heal their relationship with money and integrate financial therapy into workplace benefits, fostering long-term financial stability. He is also the co-founder of A2C Boston, a social impact venture dedicated to supporting underrepresented founders in building venture-scale companies. Beyond tech, Stanley collaborates with fashion brands like Todd Snyder, Mathmatik, Reebok, and Michael Strahan, and advocates for cancer equity in honor of his father’s legacy through his brand, Paul Rameau.

Fena Fenelon

CEO & Founder of Sofenomenal Agency Group

Fena is the CEO and founder of the Sofenomenal Agency Group, and is a Haitian-American, Brooklyn-born, Boston-based culture brand consultant. With a keen eye for design, messaging, and storytelling, she helps businesses and communities connect with their audience authentically. Her agency, known for its significant impact in Boston, boasts an impressive portfolio of clients, including the WNBA Connecticut Sun, The City of Boston, PUMA, and ESSENCE. Fena has leveraged her branding expertise to create unique and safe spaces for the communities her company represents, hosting events like BLVCKTOBERFEST and the BLACK OUTSIDE BLOCK PARTY. These events highlight her commitment to fostering inclusive and engaging community experiences.
