About Event

Can your golden retriever play ball? Can they shoot a slam dunk and carry a team of ten?

Come to Toronto’s Air Bud lookalike contest and celebrate Golden Retrievers in general! Whichever pooch looks the most like Air Bud and can perform the coolest tricks wins a $25 gift card! There will a three person panel of judges. This is a fun and causal event meant to celebrate the greatness that is golden retrievers and is hosted by golden retriever lovers for golden retriever lovers!

Any dogs are also welcome! BYOB and BYOF.

Please note any dog that isn’t neutered or spayed or has a past history of aggression will not be welcome at this event due to safety concerns. This event is also un official and not tied in anyway to the search for a new Bud for Disney’s remake in 2026.
