Chips 4 Breakfast: Enschede Slush'D Edition
Dear Xpand Friend,
We’re excited to invite you to the fourth edition of our Chip4Breakfast sessions in the Netherlands – where we explore the freshest trends in semiconductors, each time zooming in on a different application field.
Have you ever stopped to think about the invisible yet critical role semiconductors – or simply “chips” – play in shaping our world? They power everything around us: from life-saving medical devices to high-performance vehicles, from solar panels capturing clean energy to the smartphone you’re probably holding right now.
This time, over fresh coffee and a relaxed late-breakfast, we are honored to have a UTwente local, Bram Nauta join us. Bram is a renowned Dutch electronics engineer and professor, most famous for his groundbreaking invention of the "Nauta circuit," which is fundamental to modern wireless communication and integrated circuit design. He currently serves as Professor of Integrated Circuit Design at the University of Twente, where he also leads the Integrated Circuit Design group.
The event will take place before the start of Enschede Slush'D. We invite you then to join the main event after the breakfast. Please make sure to sign up as well to Enschede Slush'D if you plan to attend.
📅 Date: Thursday, 28 August 2025
