About Event

Join us for an intimate discussion as Audley Senior Advisor and Stanford Center on Longevity Ambassador Annie Coleman sits down with renowned thought-leader Professor Lynda Gratton to explore the pressing question: What is the future of work—and how can companies and individuals prepare?

We are living through the most significant global shift in the world of work in over a century. This moment presents a unique opportunity to rethink, reimagine, and radically redesign the way we work. But what will our working lives look like 20 years from now? What should we be preparing for? How, where, and with whom will we be working?

Professor Lynda Gratton will share insights from her thirty years of research into the technological, demographic, cultural, and societal trends that are transforming work. The discussion will also reflect on the long-term changes accelerated by the global pandemic.

About Professor Lynda Gratton

Lynda Gratton is Professor of Management Practice at London Business School, where she created and has led the world-renowned Human Resources Strategy in Transforming Companies programme for the past two decades. She also teaches The Future of Work, one of the School’smost popular MBA electives.

Lynda is the founder of HSM Advisory, a consultancy that brings together executives from over 100 companies to imagine and shape the future of work. She is a prolific author of ten books and a regular contributor to the MIT Sloan Management Review, the Financial Times, and Harvard Business Review.

Consistently ranked among the top global management thinkers by Thinkers50, Lynda is also a fellow of the World Economic Forum.

As she puts it:

“People and organisations. As a psychologist, this relationship has long intrigued me. I’ve spent my working life exploring this complex and impactful bond. I believe work can be a powerful force for learning and growth, and that organisations can make a profoundly positive difference in the world.”
