Nucleate in Norway
Norwegians are famous for contributing to numerous volunteering and activism activities. Embracing this culture, we're not only supporting the existing endeavors but have also created a new one. We established an emerging chapter of Nucleate in Norway.
Nucleate is a student-led international non-profit organization that aims to be the world’s largest educational initiative for functional and impact-driven life sciences career development. We leverage an international network and diverse programs of Nucleate to build a life science entrepreneurship community, provide free education for young trainees, and complement existing programs by addressing their gaps and uniting efforts in bio- and eco-tech value creation in Norway.
We offer:
Completely free programs – Nucleate never takes equity or charges fees for its programs
Mentorship from industry leaders – receive guidance from experienced mentors
Comprehensive educational curriculum – learn from the best in workshops and seminars
Investor introductions – get connected with investors ready to support your breakthrough
No forced incorporation – focus on your venture at your own pace
Nucleate has over 15 educational programs (lecture-based learning, hands-on training, and professional development) free of charge and open to all academic trainees at any level (PostDoc/PhD/MBA/MD/JD/MS/BS)
The Activator, or flagship program, is a 6-month-long accelerator that has already helped 400+ teams in 20+ different countries create 100+ companies and 200+ jobs, raising $370M post-program - all without equity or upfront costs
We have international support from academic and industrial partners (Genentech, Eli Lilly, Novo Nordisk, Pillar VC, McKinsey & Company, Johnson & Johnson, Sano, Bayer, Morgan Stanley, and many others)
Overall, we believe that Nucleate can significantly contribute to people’s engagement in bio- and eco-entrepreneurship in Norway. This shift in perception, that we want to build and achieve through our inspiring programs, can be the first step in positioning Norway as a world-leader in life science innovation.
